Comparing the performance of uncoated insert and TiC insert in CNC novel machining of LDX 2101 duplex stainless steel for minimizing surface roughness

Abstract By differentiating titanium carbide (TiC) tool and cemented uncoated during the CNC machining of LDX 2101 steel, this experimental approach aims to diminish surface roughness (SR). The control group comprised inserts while featured TiC inserts. These drilling parameters were speed cutting, rate feed, cut depth. number groups was 2, there 27 samples used for each in trials. standard SR value is 0.06778 µm, that 0.145880 µm.
